About.

Who

PlainOdds is built and maintained by Robert, a project engineer based in Pennsylvania. He also runs MidstreamCalculator.com.

Why

Look at any existing sports betting calculator site and you'll see the same thing: sportsbook banner ads above the calculator, bro-sports color palettes, dropdown menus for fantasy advice you didn't ask for, and somewhere — buried under all of it — the four lines of math you actually came for.

That's the gap. The math is straightforward. The presentation is the product. PlainOdds shows the math, gets out of the way, and trusts the reader to handle the result.

The "no banner ads" promise is permanent. Affiliate and ad strategy may evolve later, but a banner above a calculator will never appear on this site. The calculator is the page.

What we don't do

  • No sports betting picks. We don't tell you what to bet on.
  • No tracking beyond basic, privacy-respecting analytics.
  • No selling user data. (We don't collect any to begin with.)
  • No accounts to manage.
  • No app to download.

How it's built

Hand-coded HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. No frameworks, no tracking pixels, no bloat — every line of code is one a single person has to maintain, and that constraint shows up in how lean the pages stay.
